Wrinkle cream that works??

Ok.....was looking myself in the mirror the other day and notice some wrinkles under my eye.......so i was curious if those commercials about such cream would work. Anyway, went online and found out that Neutrogena one has rave reviews. I normally don't believe these crap so in order to satisfy my curiosity.....i head over to Bartells(drugstore) and bought me one of this.....So i put it on....its now day 4 and guess what.....it bloody works......i don't believe it...it bloody works.....of course i don't have old people wrinkles but i can clearly see the lines dissapearing.....so all you ladies who are reading this......i am being a guinea pig here for you and i am telling you this thing works. The cream does make your skin more feel sensitive(like a little burning sensation) but its ok.....so head out and get rid of thos wrinkles....Oh it costs me $15.99......

Got my Christmas present!!

I finally got my Christmas present today. I have always wanted to get a compact light camera, you know, the one where i can actually fit in my front pocket and take it anywhere i go. So today, i was surfing the web, i stumble upon some coupons which basically brought the camera down to $300. So i bit the bullet. So far.....its a great little camera(Casio Exilim- EXZ750. Its a very nice camera and i am glad with the results. This means i may be posting more pictures on my blog since i can carry this around. Maybe pics of food...hehehe.... Anyway, now that shopping's done...i may just take this camera for a spin this weekend. Should be interesting!!! :)

Return of the White Shit of Washington!!!

Ok....finally.....the white shit sticks!!! And i went out in my shorts to write something on the pavement. Muahahahhaaha!! Yes it was cold but i was too lazy to put on my long pants.....so just hurry up and take a picture. I am glad i am not working today. Hate driving in the snow. Some of the snow already turn into slush and its sure is dirty. Anyway.....i left my mark in the snow today.....now i am going back to take a nap and eat some Triscuit!!!

Thinking of storm watching!!

Was in the dentists office the other day and saw an article about Storm Watching here in the NorthWest.....and then i got the bug to go see it.Maybe go to Oregon or more towards the west of Washington. So will be watching out for the weather report and keep an eye out for storms. Also was told that another good activity to do is after the storm, people comb the beach to see what the storm brought it. All this sure is exciting me. Well, will post pictures if i do get to do it.

What the F is Ju-Ju-Be??

What the fuck is Ju-Ju-Be?? Thats my thought when i was in the asia store yesterday and saw a lot of people picking up this up. Ok...its a fruit but what is it? So anyway, i thought if so many people buying it, it must be good...so i bought it....at $1.49 a pound, i really can't go wrong. And when i got home, i quickly open up the package and pop one into my mouth.....damn.....its damn nice.....light and sweet....reminded me of jambu taste. Then i took another one out and it tasted familiar.....and then it finally hit on me...this is the fresh Chinese Red Dates. You know the one you put into peanut soup and such. So now i know how fresh chinese dates taste like and i like it. I am begining to suspect that jambu and this fruit are related.......

Blame Canada!! Blame Canada!!

Everytime someone mentions Canada, i am always reminded of South Park the Movie, Blame Canada song!! So that explains the title for today's blog. But it does not explain why i choose Canada today. Well, my attorney just informed me that my application for a Canadian PR has been approved and that i can land and work in Canada anytime after my passport is being stamped. This means that in any event that i get laid off or if anything should happen on the US side, i can always hope over the border and see how it is. I don't really intend to return home to Msia but then again, if i have enough money to pay off a house in Msia and car......may consider moving back. If the house and car is paid off, all your income is basically yours and life should be pretty good after that.......So YAY! i got my Canadian PR(backup plan) and that also puts me in a better position job wise....:)

Back to work tomorrow!!! Waaaaa!!

After 2 weeks of not dealing with any work related stuff, its with a heavy heart to say that it has all come to an end. Oh well, i had a good break and also kinda bored of not having much to do with my free time. But fear not....i will be having another week of vacation at the end of November for Thanksgiving. Definately looking foward to that one for sure. Oh well, all good things must come to and end. Also, you may also notice that i put ads in my blog now...i don't think i will get any money from it coz traffic quite slow but what the heck....just for the fun of it ok....:p

Got tickets to Def Leppard and Bryan Adams

Ever since 1987, i've always wanted to attend the concert by Def Leppard. I missed my opportunity when they came to Malaysia in 1994 because was a broke student then......so when i got back from vacation this week, was looking what's going on round where i live, to my surprise, i saw that Def Leppard is performing in a stadium less than 2 miles where i live. At first i hesitated because of the $59 dollar ticket price, but then again, i figure, when can i have a chance again to see these guys perform live. I also use to like Bryan Adams back then and he's performing with them. So basically 2 concerts for the price of one.....Sigh....only sad thing is that i will be going alone for this one because i don't think any of my friends would like them but who the heck cares, i am still going despite all of this.

Home sweet home!!

After 6-7 hours of plane ride, i am finally home. Sigh!!! So nice to be home with all my stuff and my realible broadband!!!! I still have one week to kill, so thats a good thing. Have not figure out what i want to do this week, was thinking about going downtown Seattle and do a little exploring but when i look at what is there to do....reality hits me....nothing to do.....all the sights i have been to is pratically boring as hell. Hmmm......but i'll figure out something!!!

Fog-get it!! I'm Leaving!!!

Ok.......make the decision today to cut short my vacation 3 days. Why? Look at the picture on top, rain,rain,rain and more rain. And it'd never did stop raining. I would put this vacation i had as a so-s0 one. First, fall colors like premature ejaculation, the coast of Maine like watching porn instead of having sex...... and the rest of the trip like impotency of old age. Weather will be like this in New England for the whole week and into next week!!! What can i do? I have to either stay in hotel or get wet visiting these places!! Sigh!!! So woke up this morning, cancel all my other reservations and heading off home to Seattle tomorrow. Dem fuck up i tell ya. Oh well, at least i've see a little fall foilage, tasted so much lobster till i am tired of it and saw a scenic lighthouse in Maine. Better than nothing.....but at the end of the day, my vacation could have been so much better. All George Bush's fault!!!

Had a great time today.

Finally, after much digusts, i had a good day.To my surprise, there is a lighthouse in Portland about 8 miles from my hotel, which had the most pretty lighthouse in US. I am glad i brought along my travel books. The sight of this lighthouse is fantastic and this makes up for all the fustration i had yesterday!!! Was so happy to have found this one!!

To add to a perfect day, i met up with Sila in New London. It was a surprise as i didn't know she was that close to the hotel i was staying at. She went out of her way to find me a great seafood place named Abbot's. This is probably the authentic seafood you get in New England. Glad i had it and the great hosts make it even better. Thanks Sila.

Holiday going down the drain!!!!

Shit....my holiday is going down the toilet. Why???
First of all, the fall colors not really there yet, today, wanted to see lighthouse and coast of Maine and guess what happen??? Fog!!! Fuck i tell you. Came all the way and can't see jack shit on the coast. The lighthouse also cannot see. Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! Tomorrow, driving down to Connecticut to New London.....suppose to meet up with Sila but not sure if i can make it there on time or not. Anyway, also i am fed up of lobsters now. Had lobsters stew for lunch and then lobster rolls for tea time. I don't want to eat anymore lobsters......waaaaaa!!!!!

Finally seeing some real fall colors....

Went of a 5 hour train ride today and the views were pretty good. I can't imagine how nice it would look when fall is in full bloom. Maybe need to go back and visit this next year again. After i finish up my Bachelor in UK, i decided to try my luck in getting a jobin the US. How i got it??? Long story short, i got into a programming courseand thus it provided me with the opportunity to work after i completed my course.Although its not the best paying job in my opinion, but i think my collegues and bosses have been supportive of my immigration status thus far. So i think i amfortunate to have what i have now. :)

New England vacation.

My first vacation for the year. Was hoping to see the fall foilage in New England but i think i came too early and trees were pretty damn green. Sigh!!! Nevermind....live and learn.
Anyway, i hope to blog more on this trip but shall see how it is. Got lost while trying to find the hotel today. Boston International Airport is very,very confusing. I landed at about 6.00pm and somehow got to my hotel at 8.00pm coz the dem road has so many bloody turns. Anyway, enjoy the view from the Harbor....from a further distance than the pic in the forum. ;p

Holy Crap....Kansas has the best damn BBQ!!!!

Ok....back from my trip......did not sleep well for 2 days or so.......eyes a little bit burning.
Anyway, yesterday, one of the managers took us out on a BBQ at a place called Fiorella's Jack Stack BBQ......shit.....that has got to be the best damn BBQ i have ever tasted. Also, the baked beans that they have.....i almost crap in my pants to as how good it was. If all beans can be prepared that way.....i can be vegeterian already.
And yes, for all those of you who has the nagging thought of, what about your diet.....for your infomation, i have lost about 10pounds since i started it a month ago. So i am still doing fine on my diet. I actually had a great time in Kansas with other people from my company and although, i will have to recover from my lack of sleep,i should be ok. I am heading out to the East Coast again on Sunday to New England for my vacation, so have to go thru the plane ride all over again. Sigh!! So its great to be back.

Going to Kansas City this week.

Going to Kansas City tomorrow for trainning. Feeling really shitty about it. Why? Because i dislike going to any company function and have to go thru the formality of introducing yourself to the rest of the people and am a representative of my program. Sigh!! Dem tu lan feeling i tell you!! Also, i dislike going thru security in the airport these days. Have to be there early and have to wait and wait and wait!!! Sheesh..........

P.Ramlee??

Recently, i've have an interests to watch old P.Ramlee movies. I still think that he's the best director Malaysia ever had. I think its pathetic that Malaysia has not release a single DVD of good quality from this director. I am sure these will sell well. A lot of us grew up watching his Ali Baba and Do-Re-Mi stories and the "Cubaaa-an" shows....LOL.....i have vague memories of his show, but would love to have all his movies in my DVD collection. I think instead of wasting time censoring all 18sx crap.....the entertainment industry should keep P.Ramlee's work alive. Now, if the DVD of his movies exists, let me know ya.....but in the meantime, i can only think back to wheni was a kid watching his shows with my family and laughing together!!!

Thinking of retiring Gloomville!!!

Keeping up with the blog is not easy. So i am thinking of retiring this blog. Sometimes dunno what to write about. Most of the time i feel shy to talk about things. For a short time, while doing this, it did give you readers an idea about who i am. I shall see if i have more stories to tell, but for now, retiring is an option. But i shall see what happens.

BBQ Cancelled!! :(

Was suppose to have a company BBQ today but was cancelled because of rain!! Sniff! Sniff! Was actually looking foward to the beef thats dropping off the bone,slow cooked chicken and endless magarita's!!! Sigh!!! But weather today is bad, raining so kena cancelled. :( Also i was curious what kinda lucky draw prizes they had. But nevermind...be strong....its only food!!! :(

Anyway, to make up for it, i went to an italian restauraunt and had Chicken with White Wine sauce and to top it off, Cold Stone Creamery ice cream to have Banana Caramel Crunch(See below). If you don't know, Cold Stone is a new trend of ice cream stores in the US whereby they mix ice-cream with the topping of your choice on a cold slab of stone. Yup, they put the ice-cream on a stone and mix it there and then. Sure taste bloody good. Tomorrow have to go back to dieting again!! Oh well, life goes on!!!

Diet update!!

Ok...its been 2 weeks since i started my diet. Lost about 5 pounds already!!! Pants already fitting me better!!Shit, its dem difficult i tell you. Secret of success(if you can call it success!!! Muahahahhaha!!!), eat more vege and fruits and cut down on meats and carbs.

First week, dem susah....always hungry....but after a while, your body just gets used to it.
Right now, if a little hungry, its a good thing. Important note, breakfast is very crucial. You have to at least eat something for breakfast, i had cereal with soy milk. Love it! Lunch and dinner.....pile my plate with about 85% vege and 15% meats. Its not too bad.
Went to asian store today and bought more vege for the week. Onwards to the 3rd week!!!

Bahagian kedua cerita babi betina butuh!!

Sekarang hari minggu, saya nak cerita pasal babi di tempat kerja saya. Sebenarnya, babi ini ialah seorang lelaki. Dia gemuk, gigi macam tahi anjing dan muka macam berang punya punggung!
Saya tak suka dia kerana perangai dia betul-betul uji saya punya perasaan. Setiap kali kalau saya ada masalah dengan network, bila saya tanya dia, dia cakap "Apa Mahu??" Babi celaka, sudah 5 tahun kerja dengan babi ini, dia lagi bagi perangai macam butuh!! Bukan itu saja, dia selalu cakap, "Senang saja, hari ini saya betulkan masa-alah itu" tapi sampai sebulan dia semua pun tarak buat!! Selalu kata dia tahu, tapi otak macam tempoyak tahi!!! Bodoh sungguh babi butuh ini!!

Lu orang tengok gambat babi di atas...nah...itulah dia kalau saya guna anak panah kat dia.
Sejak kawan saya di syarikat tinggalkan syarikat, dia ambil separuh punya kerja kawan saya. Itulah kerana kawan saya kerja kat network, saya takut nanti babi ini nampak tulisan ini dan buat kacau kat saya!!! Nasib baik, Isnin ini tak ada kerja. Saya tak nak tengok muka babi ini!!

Well, i still see people on TV that talks about God saving their lives and Katrina, i get annoyed!! But my collegue today showed me a link to James Randi site and i thought what he mentioned about this subject is exactly what was on my mind when i hear such things.

Pee-tiful experience!!

I am damn bloody pissed off by this medical center today(U.S HealthWorks). Keeping long story short, we were asked to take a drug test today!!(Itu cerita lagi satu, tapi sekarang tarak tenaga nak bincang!!Banyak Tu Lan punya cerita!!!).

Anyway, i left my office at about 1pm and reach there at about 1.15pm. All i wanted is to pee in a cup for these guys and get on with my life.....but nooooo.....these fuckers let me wait for 1 bloody hour. I was so pissed i was literally sweating pee out of my balls!!! All it takes is less than a minute to pee in a cup, sign some papers and get the hell out. What is so difficult about that?? I don't even need a doctor to watch me pee!! Bottomline, this fucking medical center is dis-organize and mess up!! I won't be surprise if they ask me to return give another pee sample!! U.S HealthWorks my ass!!!!

Take that you Bitch!!!

Ok...lets talk about porn today!!! I honestly don't really like porn these days because of the way the men treats the women in it. All you hear is "Take that you bitch!!" or "How do you like that, you bitch!!"......Then the ending clip is always, and i mean always, the guy always sputter all over on the poor girls face. Comon porno actor, the least you could do after calling her "Bitch" is hand her a hand towel....and the poor girl can barely see thru her left eye already!!!

Also....one cannot watch too much porn because if you do, you might think what they do is normal.And that will pose a problem down the road. Don't get me started on the positions....i don't think its easy humping when you have to balance on the bed while holding the poor girl upside-down. The acting also tiga-suku wan!! I beh tahan that also. And who the hell humps for like 1 1/2 hours.....after 5 mins of watching porn, you might as well open up your car engine and see the pistons go up and down. Further more you'll learn how your car engine works. Dem siang i tell you!!

Bottomline....you've seen one porn show, you've seen it all. Except for amateur ones...now those a little different but still...sometimes i think women should be treated better in porn shows. I was typing away happily a love letter to my girlfriend, when all of a sudden....... i realize a spot on my hand...............fuck!!!!!
Son of a Crossed Eye Camel!!!!!...what the hell is it???...so i went to the web and type out what i suspected it was....and there it was.....ringworm!! Dem....how the hell did i get it....dem embarassing coz i always associate ringworm with a dirty and unhygenic fella and here i have got it on hand.

So sadly, drag my fat ass to the pharmacy.....ask the pharmacist if its ringworm....the pharmacist saw the spot....move away from me like i had leprosy or something.....and gave me some cream i need to use for a few weeks. Dem....i tell ya....i think i must have gotten it from the fucking YMCA pool or somewhere there!!!

Good thing did not get it on top of head or the ahem..ahem area....if not....dem paiseh showing it to the pharmacist!!! Muahahahhahaha!!!!

How i lost my religion???

Ok...here's probably a topic on a lot of my friends mind, regarding me and religion. If you are one of them.....let me say this...you dem kay poh ya!! :p Hahahaha!! Just kidding!!

Anyway, i am happy to tell you the tale of how a purple dinosaur lost his religion. I won't go into detalis as to why i choose to become a christain once, but rather tell you the reason why i opt out of it in 1998. There's 2 main reasons:-

1) The same bloody sharing( in biblestudy groups of course), of everybody saying "I want to be like Jesus" every fucking week for years and years and end up acting like assholes. Err...maybe i got a different version of the bible, but i sure don't recall Jesus acting like an asshole in my bible. These buggers go to biblestudy and pratice their holy acting skills in front of the leaders. There is only so much i can take ok....

2) The ever famous...."Why did you not go to church/biblestudy?" or "Can you lead bible study or worship tonight?". If you tell the truth and say "I want to watch X-Files!!" you'll end up getting prayed for by the group. So in order to not to get interrogated with these questions to you week after week after weeek, you have 2 choices....

i) you cook up a lie(death in family is a good excuse but you only have so much to go around...Hahahhahaa!!!) or

ii) you go to biblestudy(and miss X-Files)....and get pissed when assholes says "I want to be like Jesus!!" for you know dem well that there is only so much fart one can smell a night!!...and i miss X-Files for this!!!

Also, this one time, i was literally forced into a room and forced to speak in tongues. Worst still, this person then share with my bible study group that i can speak in tongues. And i was asked to demostrate this "speaking in tongues" to the group. Ughhh!! Dem fucked up i tell you!!

But the ultimate blow came to me in 1998...when i was in UK....i won't say who, but a Christain literally step over my boundry when he/she called up my dorm and "force" me to go to church. I stood my ground and said "No" and the rest is history. I am tired of Christains telling me how i should live my life and what i should do with it.

And after all these years of not having any religion in my life, i have never been a happier person. These days, just listening to 2 christains talking (you know, the praise God talk), i have to excuse myself and leave because its just something i am not use to anymore. Don't get me wrong, i've made some good christain friends over the years and look up to them!!

There....thats the story of how Purple D lost his religion and is not a believer anymore. I am so bloody glad he did!!! :)

Watching X-Files from the start.

I've been a fan of this show since it came out but never got a chance to watch it coz of some religious duties then. I will talk about me loosing my religion one of these days(maybe tomorrow).

In any event, i bought the entire X-Files DVD about 2 years ago but never got round watching it as i was in a DVD colecting frenzy at that time, so no time to commit to watching 9 seasons of that show. But since i got my new TV yesterday, i decided to watch an episode everyday. So i should be finishing it in about 3 - 6 months!!!!

Ok...this is it....i need to loose weight!!

Anyway.....i have started my dieting since Monday. Funny thing is that, this plan to loose weight has been in the works since 1992....but then hoor....i kena hand and mouth disease....ya....hand take food and put in mouth and mouth munch and swallow food. Kekekeke!!!

So, on a more serious note, why have i decided to do this now....well, for a simple reason......i am 31, overweight and i have to take care of myself to avoid health complications down the road. Doctor says i show signs of High Blood Pressure...i say no way i am going down that road. Can u imagine, taking blood pressure medication have so many side-effects its fucking scary! I ain't going down that road without a fight!!! I am already excercising regularly so the next logical step is to watch my diet.

To my dear friends, i hope that you too will take care of your health and wish that all of you live a healthy and happy life. Its what we do today that will effect us tomorrow....we may be getting older but we are also getting wiser in life. :)

Asians and Mooncakes!!!

Ok...first part of blog....Asians....i went to the store today, guess what, asians there pissed me off!! More specifically, either Thai shitheads, Vietnamese assholes! Simply got no manners and and bloody rude!!

I dunno, i realize i have big issues with these 2 groups. They are just plain arrogant,loud,rude and inconsiderate.

Ok.....earlier in this post kena spamed....so better not say anything i said earlier!!! :p

Ok....my existing TV in my room has serve me for about 5 years and is showing signs of flickering or fuckering(all those porn watching wore it out i think..hhahaahhha.....hmmmm is that true or not ah??)....so its about time i got myself a new TV. I've wanted the TV for months now(Keep going to the store everyweekend till i know everybody at the store, paiseh already).....so since i got some gift certificates from signing up for new credit cards a while ago, i broke down and bought myself a 26" Sony Widescreen LCD television. Also got 18 months interests free financing(i love these 0% financing stuff), so i don't feel the pinch buying it...hehehehehe.......

I decide to buy it from an established retailer from New York coz if i buy it from Washington state, i am charge 8.9% sales tax....thats like too much for something like this. Got free shipping also. If there is anything wrong, i can return it to them for free and get a replacement, so i guess, there is nothing to loose. Hmmm.....can't wait to get it next week!!! :)

So not gloomy today....its Friday and got new toy to play with next week!!! :)

Fuck me!! My doctor is trying to kill me!!!

A few weeks back, i went to the doctor for a regular to schedule for an allergy tests.
So laa..laa..laa..laaa....i went in to see her. Next thing i knew, i was on high blood pressure
medication!!! Piss me off a little. Nevermind.....after taking medication for a few days, i started
developing a dry fucking cough that comes and goes like nobody's business. When it comes, i can't even talk coz my throat was bloody itchy. I know my collegues were irritated by it because they keep asking me why my cough lasted so long.

2 weeks after my first visit, i went back for a follow up.....guess what, i told my doctor about this weird fucking cough i have and she says nevermind, and she did mention about how the blood pressure medication causes cough. So next thing i knew, she prescribe me a more potent version of the drug. Fuck me! Here i am coughing the bejezus out of my life, and she went on not only prescribe be a higher dosage of the drug but for a 90 days supply(Usually its 30 days!!)

So i went online and did a search on that drug she perscribe(Lisinopril) to me and found out that there are people on this drug that cough blood after going on it. Some have been coughing for years....God...i rather die of high blood pressure than having this fucking cough. Sigh!! It will take a few weeks for me to get over this cough......for some people, it takes months!!
Shit...moral of story.....if doctor perscribe you anything, ask for the side-effects and do your research...I've stopped taking the drugs for almost 1 week now and have noticed a huge difference!!!

Fat Ass Pedestrians!!

Went to a store today to get some cereal, was driving in front of the store when i have to make a sudden stop and let a fat arse bitchy lady on the cellphone cross the road.Man, if i have anger issues, would have just step on my accelerator and plow her thru.

She was talking on the cellphone and did not even looked left and right, just walk accross the road. To make my blood boil somemore, she wobble slowly her fat ass accross the street.
I tell you, these type of pedestrians needs to be mowed down to teach them a lesson.

In America, the worst pedestrians are teenagers who thinks they look cool in their baggy pants and stupid backward baseball cap walking at the speed of 1 mile an hour accross the main road. Ugggh.....all i can thing of is GTA!! GTA!! GTA!!

Ngam! Ngam! Yam!! Mmmmm.......

Highlight for today.....i cooked enough curry to last me 2 days!! I've always love curry and will be curry'fied for the next few days. Dem.....sure looks good in the photo doesn't it. Hmmm.....maybe should go and microwave some again for supper...but then again, getting fat...no hope liao.
Anyway, tomorrow's Monday and as always, totally sucked ass!!!!

Shit! Turning to Ah Beng???

Ok....i got to watch Kung Fu Hustle today and damn...that soundtrack of the movie was really good. I find the tunes to some of the Chinese Orchestra music absoutely lovely!! How could this be?? Even worst, i actually went to Itunes and bought the download for the album just because of that music. As i type this, i am on Itunes previewing other Chinese Orchestra music.

I can almost recall like it was yesterday shrugging off any chinese music when my parents listen to them, now its kinda creepy finding myself enjoying it.

Also, when i listen to these music, it makes me feel proud to be chinese(the culture and ect..) but
when i go chinatown and see all the Ah Lians and Ah Bengs, talking in chinese, it just annoys the hell out of me. Sigh......but whatever it is, damn you Chow Sing Chi(Fists is in the air) for getting me hooked on that music on the soundtrack!!!
